2019 BMW 3 series An upgraded new generation BMW

The all new generation BMW 3 series has finally arrived in the Indian market today.

The 3 series has been launched in India with the price tag of Rs 41.40 lacs, which extends to 47.90 for the top end trim(all th prices are ex-showroom rice).

This new Gen BMW 3 series has 2 engine options now – Petrol BMW 330i and the diesel 320d. There are two trims which we used to see earlier as well i.e. sport and luxury line, while M-sport comes only with the petrol option.

BMW launched the 3 series as the first gen 3 series in the year 1975. The car is so popular that BMW has managed to sell 15 million units acrss the globe.

The BMW 3 series now get the somewhat similar looks as the 5 series and the 7 seriesas the new 3 series shares the CLAR platform with its elder sibling 5 series and the flagship from the 7  series.

There is a cosmetic change in the exterior and the interior as well, the Exterior updates a larger kindner grille, L shaped DRLs with the LED lamps.The famous and the mostpopular Hofmeister kink design cue is now a part of the C-pillar instead of the door. The 2019 3 series clearly resembels from the latest BMW 8 series. The new BMW gets the wrapround tail lamps, which are similar to the new 5 series which are helping the car to appear wider to what exactly it is.

The small difference between the petrol and diesel trims is the highlighted 18 inches alloy on the petrol models and the 17 inches on the diesel ones. The 3 series entry level sedan is now more spacious and the driver focused cockpit. Thee is the new instrument panel which is completely digital and an 8.8 inch touch screen infortainment system.

The interesting feature in the new BMW 3 series is the slef-levelling hub caps on the alloy wheels which is similar to the king of Auto industry the Rolls Royce. The 2019 3 series is a good option to buy if you are having a budget close to 50 lacs INR.
